Process

At Curators Den, we recognize the challenges that come with collaborating with international suppliers. To make the process easier, we have broken it down into three simple stages:

1.Initial ideas and sampling

Before we begin sampling, it’s helpful to have reference images or ideas of the kind of work you are envisioning. This allows our designers to start with a clear direction. Embroidery is fully customizable, offering a wide array of techniques and materials such as threads, cords, ribbons, beads, sequins, and crystals. You can refine your ideas through sampling until you are completely satisfied to move forward with production.

2.Sampling, patterns and artwork

Sampling can take anywhere from one to three rounds before we achieve the precise final pattern. The cost of this process is based on the style of collection and materials used for the same. We can also work on your paper patterns for embroidery and our skilled artists can create an artwork on it to show precise placements of embroidery.

We will send you images of the artwork for your approval, allowing you to suggest any changes or adjustments. After the design is approved, it will be transferred onto fabric using a special rotary machine that creates tiny holes in the pattern, ensuring that the embroiderers can accurately apply your design with removable chalk.

3.Production and Quality control

Once your sampling and embroidery are approved, production begins. The timeline will depend on the size and complexity of your pieces, as well as the techniques used. Throughout the production process, we will send you regular updates with progress photos so you can track how your collection is taking shape.

After production is complete, a thorough quality control inspection ensures that you receive a flawless final product. We will assess factors like shrinkage that may have occurred during embroidery, seam alignment, and the strength of the stitches to guarantee the highest quality of craftsmanship.

Once the pieces passes the quality check, it’s ready for shipment via trusted couriers. We ensure that the process is smooth and efficient, so your creation reaches you on time.
